The Week In Doom — Accelerating Doom Edition

The Week In Doom — Accelerating Doom Edition

Once again, we have a week with too much Doom. Way it’s going, we’re soon going to need a daily edition.

Item

The Hectoring Harridan from Hell would be our president. If so, Doom will come much more quickly than we predicted.

Remember, it’s not that most of care if two sodomites LARP around and pretend to be married. It’s the government mandates we agree with their delusion. This is tyranny.

By which I mean This Is Tyranny.

Item

Beta Boy has no chance of being president, and surely knows it. He’s probably angling for some position as Secretary of Morality. He could both mandate sodomy and take peoples guns.

Item Buttigieg, Warren unveil LGBTQ rights plans ahead of town hall

Buttigieg, who is the first openly gay major presidential candidate, plans to push Congress to pass the Equality Act if elected. The legislation, which passed the House in May, would amend the Civil Rights Act to block discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.

The Democrat would also establish a national mentorship program for LGBTQ youth, as well as protect the rights and safety of all LBGTQ individuals.

If the Equality Act passes, I give us no more than five years before the leftist purity spiral causes the rise of a Strong Man (which some of us in our less sober moments hoped would be Trump).

Can you imagine a national program to instruct kids in the joys of inserting things into their butts? Imagine it.

Wait. Don’t imagine it. It’s already happening. Pre-K and elementary school kids in Skokies are already undergoing mandatory indoctrination.

Item David Mackereth: Christian doctor loses trans beliefs case (this is a week old, but good, solid Doom)

A doctor who refused to use transgender pronouns as people’s chosen sex as it went against his Christian faith has lost his tribunal.

Disability assessor Dr David Mackereth, from Dudley, West Midlands, claimed the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) breached his right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

But a panel ruled his biblical view of what it is to be male and female was “incompatible with human dignity.”

Dr Mackereth said he intends to appeal.

The hearing was told he would refuse to refer to “any 6ft-tall bearded man” as “madam” following a conversation with a manager at an assessment centre and later left his role.

We are at the point where a doctor, a real one and not an executioner, cannot call a male a male—even in a hypothetical situation. I elsewhere predicted the NHS will be forced to provide a man pretending to be a woman with a hysterectomy, or some such other impossible procedure, or it will be made to give a prostate exam to a woman pretending to be a man.

Medicine is pozzed.

Item Seattle Schools Say Math is Racist

Washington State’s Superintendent’s website contains a curriculum, couched in Critical and Race Theory language, called the “K-12 Math Ethnic Studies Framework.“…

Some of the themes from the curriculum include: ‘Origins, Identity, and Agency’; “Power and Oppression’; ‘History of Resistance and Liberation’; and ‘Reflection and Action’—adding a whole new dimension as to how we view numbers…

The first theme- “Origins, Identity, and Agency” — promises to interrogate the following:

“Origins, Identity and Agency, as defined by ethnic studies, is the ways [sic] in which we view ourselves as mathematicians and members of broader mathematical communities. Mathematical theory and application is rooted in the ancient histories of people and empires of color. All human endeavors include mathematical thinking; from humanities to the arts to the sciences.”

Empires of color. Contrasted with empires of no color.

Anyway, we’ve seen this coming. If there are differences between peoples, where “peoples” is by self identification, under the caustic acid of Equality, differences must be wiped away. Since you can’t make a person learn math who can’t learn it, math itself has to be redefined.

As we predicted. Here is another article on the same subject, but in a difference place—all in the same week!

Item Alaska Supreme Court hears youth climate change lawsuit

A lawsuit filed by 16 Alaska youths claimed long-term effects of climate change will devastate the country’s northernmost state and interfere with their constitutional rights to life, liberty and public trust resources that sustain them.

The state’s legislative and executive branches have not taken steps to lower greenhouse gas emissions and adopted a policy that promotes putting more in the air, said attorney Andrew Welle of the Oregon-based Our Children’s Trust group.

Following ignorant kids to our Doom is very 2019.

Item TV shows will have to meet diversity targets on gender, race and sexuality among characters to be able to win Baftas, the awards academy declares

We only need the headline here. Remember how many times we said Diversity always leads to mandatory quotas, absolutely always? Yes. I thought you remembered.

As more evidence of it, this item…

Item Brown eliminates GRE test requirement for 24 doctoral programs

Because Diversity. Oh, you also remember the many times we said that standards always have to go, and be redefined, under Diversity?

Item Army Combat Fitness Test Fiasco! Slides Reveal 84% of Women Failing ACFT

The only real surprise is as many as 16% passed, which must mean the standards were not high. Meaning they had already undergone some Diversity and Equality weakening.

    Briggs,

I elsewhere predicted the NHS will be forced to provide a man pretending to be a woman with a hysterectomy, or some such other impossible procedure.

You’re a bit behind the times – though, to be honest, he wasn’t “pretending to be a woman”.

  2. The Army is also graduating women out of Ranger school. There is a 0.0% probability that the women passed to the same standards the men did.

Uh yeah and that’s exactly one out of many examples of what the point of political correctness is really all about – getting rid of free speech and more bureaucratic and state control. And of course the left follows a Marxist paradigm and way of doing things where they always select a group of people they want to label as “victims” and then they give this “victim group” extra rights – not equal rights, but extra rights – whether it’s trans people, or homosexuals or perhaps like in traditional Marxist ideology the workers or employees over the capitalists. Yes this pc class war is all about more government control and less free speech and what you can do in life and of course getting rid of good sense about basic scientific facts about gender or sex if it means undermining order in the country.

It was very interesting that the Army sent a general to grade the women that passed the Ranger course. If a General says they passed, who is going to contradict him? When a congressman asked to see the training records they had been destroyed. That is BS because the DOD has records retention rules and typically records are retained for two years.

The doctor should use the science argument. Going against science makes you a science denier, hence a climate denier.

STOP USING PRONOUNS OR TITLES. Use ONLY names, never pronouns.

The Army AFCT is fascinating in what it *doesn’t* include – mostly exercises that women tend to have more trouble with due to upper body strength mismatches.

At least there are *some* lifting standards there now, but it seems to me to be a pretty easy ‘pass’ for most guys that have trained up for a month or two.

I’m a mostly non-athletic, overweight, late 30’s guy that recently started a lifting program. My 5-rep deadlift using a standard barbell is currently at 195lbs after only about two months of consistent training. 140lbs is the basic level that the Army’s looking for, which most army-age men should be able to get to within a few weeks of solid training if they’ve never lifted before. They’re using 60lb hex bars which make the lift easier and some trainers consider it a better exercise for a lot of folks than a standard barbell (more muscle activation, your 1RM likely will go up with a hex bar compared to a barbell).

The other tasks are items that a little training can lead to good results for most guys – chest strength (pushups), the ‘standing power throw’ (they really could have used barbell power cleans here), the ‘sprint drag carry’ (which looks like the crossfit folks managed to get something in there too), leg tuck (why the heck not squats), and a 2 mi run.

No chins/pull ups required which is odd (the ‘leg tuck’ is done while hanging…). I suppose they use the ‘sprint drag carry’ as an upper body proxy… No Military/Overhead Press? No Squat?

“TV shows will have to meet diversity targets on gender, race and sexuality among characters to be able to win Baftas, the awards academy declares”

There goes the remake of the “Al Jolson Story” and we’ll need some black lesbian Norwegian chicks for the serialisation of “Heroes of Telemark”…

Totally agree about using Names only and never pronouns. And, to be aware that some change their name daily and also very often, by which they choose to be called.
Very sad. Such confusion must be very hard on the one suffering the confusion.
Pray for the children to know Jesus and the truth by the grace of God, no matter what the “theys” are attempting to teach them.
    God bless, C-Marie
