The Week In Doom — State-Mandated Sodomy Edition

Item Canadian doctors tell father they will inject his 14-year-old daughter with male hormones for transition without his permission

It would be wrong, and probably illegal, to say that the time for slitting throats is well upon us. So watch yourself.

Item Pride flag to fly at all [Windsor] public elementary schools in June

The rainbow flag, symbol of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, will fly in front of all public elementary schools for at least one week during Pride Month in June.

“When you’re in elementary school, and you’re just coming into adolescence, it’s a very vulnerable time,” said Greater Essex County District School Board vice-chairman Julia Burgess, who introduced the motion. “You may not have a lot of peers like you. The Pride flag tells them we have their back.”

“Who wouldn’t be proud to fly that flag?” said chairperson Jessica Sartori, struggling with emotion.

Emotion is not the only thing this appalling woman is struggling with. Bugmen welcome their buggery; the sane must be coerced.

Re-read the headline: this is elementary schools. They are coming for your kids, and there is nothing you can do about it, save home-school. That is a (partial) solution, for now. It won’t be once home-schoolers are found not to have the correct opinions about sodomy. I believe it will be easier to come after parents in Canada than it will be in the once United States, though Canadian readers can correct us on this point (if necessary).

Speaking of going after children, our next item.

Item Gay and trans lessons for primary schools (Piece cuts off because the rest is behind a paywall.)

Compulsory lessons to teach children from the age of five about gay and trans relationships will be outlined in guidance to head teachers to be published tomorrow.

The controversial new statutory guidance will also spell out for the first time the end of parents’ right to opt their children out of sex and relationships education classes in secondary school. The change will guarantee all children receive at least a term of lessons by the time they are 16.

The new classes will be introduced nationally in 2020 following a six-month consultation by the Department for Education.

Primary school pupils will learn about same-sex and trans families as well as staying safe online and developing “healthy, respectful relationships”. Secondary school pupils will receive classes on relationships…

No homosexual relationship is healthy or respectful, so the lessons ought to be short. Well, that good joke should not keep you from understanding that they actual lessons will not only demonstrate the “proper” ways of buttsects, but the pupils will all be made to swear oaths to the goodness of the acts.

Imagine the Reality-loving child who writes “This stuff is disgusting”, which is profoundly true. What will happen to him? Will his opinion be tolerated? Will he be respected? Will he be allowed to hold his belief?

Or will he be made to recant and publicly endorse that which he despises?

Item Parents who do not support their child’s gender identity risk being reported to Child Protective Services and losing custody of their children.

Where did she get the idea she was transgender? From a school presentation—at a school where over 5 percent of the student body called themselves trans or nonbinary, and where several students were already on hormones, and one had a mastectomy at the age of sixteen. In my daughter’s world—in real life and online—transgender identities are common, and hormones and surgeries are no big deal.

Homeschool homeschool homeschool homeschool. Homeschool. This is the only way to escape the demonic propaganda pushed by the State and culture. Get out.

Item All Hail The Masturbating Middle Schooler!

It begins innocently enough. In the third episode of the Hulu comedy “PEN15” the seventh grader Maya is playing with two My Little Pony dolls, mashing their pink plastic faces together in a fantasy make-out session, when her face flushes pink, too. For maybe the first time, she sticks a hand down her underwear, and for the remainder of the 30-minute episode, that hand rarely re-emerges. Suddenly Maya’s suburban middle school existence is pulsing with masturbation triggers: a pencil hole drilled into a purple eraser; a classmate’s ear hair; the curve of a sand dune in a nature documentary. A switch has flipped. Now everything is sex.

This is Dreher, and the piece is worth reading only for the comments from his readers, which he has elevated to be part of the post. See especially the one by Rob Gardner, who puts this new show, and others like it, not down to a concerted plan, but pure and simple greed aimed at selling a product the public cannot turn down.

Item [Two men] sprinters finish 1st, 2nd at Connecticut girls indoor track championships

Andraya Yearwood hears the comments, usually from adults and usually not to [his] face.

[He] shouldn’t be running, they say, not against girls.

Yearwood, a 17-year-old junior at Cromwell High School, is one of two [men larping as girls] high school sprinters in Connecticut, transitioning to [insanity].

[He] recently finished second in the 55-meter dash at the state open indoor track championships. The winner, Terry Miller of Bloomfield High, is also [insane boy] and set a girls state indoor record of 6.95 seconds [even though he is a boy]. Yearwood finished in 7.01 seconds and the third-place competitor, who is not [insane], finished in 7.23 seconds.

See? It doesn’t take much to fix these stories.

Item Cornell University Adopts ‘Stealth’ Project to Replace Hamburger Meat with Mushrooms

Cornell University has adopted a project to partially replace burger meat with ground-up mushrooms. The school’s director of nutrition management refers to the initiative as a “stealth” approach at “deemphasizing” students from eating meat, implying that the Ivy League students may not be aware of the added fungi and that eating decisions should be made for them.

Naughty, naughty.

Item Sex coach smears menstrual blood on her face to show that periods are ‘beautiful’ and ‘powerful’

A year later she had it removed after partially pulling it out while using a menstrual cup — and began to become more in tune with her cycle.

She changed her mindset, and now regularly smears her period blood over her face and shares it online, calling it “magical”.

Now a sex coach, she said: “I used to spend my time worrying about what other people thought of me.”

It’s clear she’s beyond caring now.

Let’s not forget the 1977 film classic “Can I Do It ‘Til I Need Glasses?”
(Over FORTY years, now! A year before Animal House!)
Then there was Porky’s not long thereafter (no pun in ten did)

(Look at the mess Hollywood was in on and off the screen in the early days)
    Fatty Arbuckle, anyone?

I want to recommend a short theology book by Douglas Farrow, Ascension Theology.
He asks “How is it that the present age should be for the church, in spite of Christ’s heavenly reign, a long defeat? How is it that the preaching of Christ should produce Antichrist, the law of liberty the mystery of lawlessness?”
And he answers: “. . .the present age will end, as Jesus and the prophets and apostles all insist, in a definitive act of judgment, analogous to the destruction that fell on Jerusalem in AD 70, and indeed to the Great Flood that is the biblical prototype of such judgments.. . .The definitive judgment awaits the time when evil is historically embodied in its most definitive form—a form it cannot achieve
or assume apart from the working of the gospel and the Eucharistic presence of the church throughout the world”.
And then, “The parousia of the lawless one—that is, of the man who has decisively repudiated the dialogue of salvation but perfected its simulation—is the precondition of the parousia of Jesus Christ”.
    Highly recommend.

I’m probably in a small minority, but I blame it all on public employee unions. Unions are all about separating their members from the consequences of their performance, good or bad, and replacing it with some other measure, typically seniority. In this regard, public unions are particularly bad, since there is no entity filling the role of “management”, which means that adversarial negotiations don’t exist.

In my lifetime, there has always been an excess of trained teachers, resulting in low salaries (but high competence). Since this is our children we are talking about here, market forces be damned, and this was fixed, through parental voting, by reduced class sizes and mandatory generous (relative to market forces) salaries, and the elimination of stressful performance evaluations. It’s not surprising that in this environment, mediocrity and incompetence now dominates our public schools, and makes them a very attractive target for social experimentation.

“”A level playing field is a fallacy,” says Dr. Myron Genel, Yale professor emeritus of pediatric endocrinology. He is a member of the International Olympic Committee’s Medical Commission on issues regarding gender identity in athletics.

“There’s so many other factors that may provide a competitive advantage,” Genel says. “It’s very hard to single out sex as the only one.”

Where do these reality denying f*ckwits earn their credentials??

I have studied martial arts for 40+ years, taught them for 30+ been involved in training national and international competitors, both male and female… the notion that “It’s very hard to single out sex as the only one.” regarding basic physical capacity is not just mistaken, it is cretinous

  6. I sometimes wonder if the ridiculous idea that there is no significant athletic difference between men and women is only possible because of smaller families. I remember when my older sister could suddenly no longer beat me at anything athletic. Within months, she could no longer even hope to compete with me. My younger brother shortly afterward passed me up slightly, so it wasn’t just me; it was boys in general. How could someone who had experiences like that ever think that there isn’t a big difference between men and women?

“No homosexual relationship is healthy or respectful, so the lessons ought to be short.”

How would you know? This is ignorant in the extreme.

“Imagine the Reality-loving child who writes “This stuff is disgusting”, which is profoundly true.”

If someone finds something disgusting, so what? That isn’t a rational reason to condemn it. In any case, when you say ‘reality-loving’, you really mean brainwashed by religion, as children are usually accepting of whatever they encounter when growing up unless taught otherwise by adults.

  8. Trombone – Children are not accepting of everything unless taught otherwise. I myself was disgusted by miscegenation and faggotry from a very young age, without any prompting, and no small amount of encouragement the other way by the media. But then again, we were still burning witches in my small town back then. (Although, to be fair, they were probably hippies.)

Take your anti-civilizational Leftism and keep it to yourself.

Of course there is a ‘level playing field’! It just comes down to a lack of planning on the part of cisgender girls (or rather, their parents) who hope to compete in school sports. They should start hormone therapy at the appropriate age to develop a proper athletic body, then discontinue the hormones at the appropriate time to qualify under the rules. All other considerations are moot under the gender fluidity rules – the officials can’t even ask. The rules are there for a reason – to protect the athletes and create the level playing field to begin with. In addition to natural athletic ability, one must take maximal advantage of the rules that protect the sport.

I can hear some of you now. Unfair!! What about disadvantaged cisgender girls whose families can’t afford the hormone therapy? Ok, I’ll grant you the point. Clearly the federal government needs to step in and fund the hormone therapy for these disadvantaged girls. And the federal government also needs to step in and force the hand of greedy insurance companies that refuse to cover these necessary therapies.

This is just another example of short-sighted people refusing to see beyond the immediately obvious parameters of a so-called “problem”, and their stubborn refusal to set aside their antiquated preconceived notions that inflict their stilted view of the world on the rest of us.

    @ McChuck,

“Children are not accepting of everything unless taught otherwise.”

I said “usually accepting” – please quote what I’ve said honestly, or don’t bother replying at all.

“Take your anti-civilizational Leftism and keep it to yourself.”

Treating gay people with respect and understanding isn’t leftism, it’s basic human decency.

It’s interesting that Mr. trombone seems mostly concerned with the issue (which Mr. Briggs did not bring up) of whether a child disgusted by certain practices would necessarily condone or condemn them, and with the issue (which I suppose Mr. Briggs did bring up) of whether such a child would be “reality-loving” or not, both of which issues seem to me at least rather tangential to the main points of the post.

I say this because when I saw this post go up I wondered how our resident liberals would react, as there are plenty of them and they seem mostly essentially reasonable. In Mr. trombone it seems we have the only one who showed up, and he is covering a side point (which is, part of it at least, certainly important enough, but something of a fly ball into left field). If the reasonable liberals have nothing to say about this sort of thing, does this mean the nutcases are in the driver’s seat?

Stop cheating in enough time to pass the tests…

    Two problems:
Many of the “beneficial” effects are transitory
Many of the Adverse effects are permanent

There are good and proper reasons beyond preventing cheating why these substances are controlled to medical use generally and forbidden for Sports/Athletic training specifically

Every time there’s a post about ‘gay’ anything, John B says something about double double entendre. When Americans talk about bacon is that what they mean? In England it means the thing you fry to a crisp, if it’s done properly. I wonder how nigelteapot like his bacon. Well I don’t really. Bacon must be trending on Twitter or something? That’s five pig/bacon/pork references in two days. No ham radio reference though. Or Hamster stories, or Palma ham talk. Palma is just an airpot. Not a nice place. Olives are easily foiled, evidently.

The story about the teaching of children in INFANT school about gay relationships is true, sadly.
Parents are going to remove their children on those days, in large numbers, according to the radio.

Children shouldn’t be taught about sex until they study Biology in senior school. Even then they should be taught separately from boys until sixth form. The last two years before University. There’s always a school nurse.

As for respectful relationships, it’s not something that can be taught in class. There’s always conversations in classes as subjects arise. We were taught about what rape was by our English literature teacher when reading To Kill a Mocking Bird. I think boys and girls should be educated separately until they’re sixteen, preferably longer if girls want to stay in education, it’s as well they view boys as stinky, loud, aliens to be given a wide birth for as long as possible. It makes for more respectful adult boys and girls. They can meet in out of school activities if they’re not at boarding schools. It’s as if there’s a race on. Some on the far right give the pushers ideas. Especially when they make up false articles and false stories. It’s all a power grab. Get them while they’re young.
“suffer little children to come unto me.”

    @ R,

“It’s interesting that Mr. trombone seems mostly concerned with the issue (which Mr. Briggs did not bring up) of whether a child disgusted by certain practices would necessarily condone or condemn them…”

He did bring up the issue, and I quoted him on it, otherwise I wouldn’t have mentioned it.

“If the reasonable liberals have nothing to say about this sort of thing, does this mean the nutcases are in the driver’s seat?”

I can’t see many liberals wanting to read a blog which has such a loathesome and unreasonable attitude to gay people (amongst other issues). The thing is, I often agree with Mr. Briggs’s criticism of Authoritarian Leftism, but he loses my support due to his relentless, gratuitously offensive attacks on gay people.

  15. R

    Mr. trombone,

I’ve actually observed a fair number of liberal commenters on Briggs’ posts. Obviously they don’t have exactly identical viewpoints either with each other or, certainly, with Mr. Briggs. Not considering myself among them, I can’t speculate on why they come here, but personally I find the posts here usually interesting even when I can’t agree with them, or as with some of the posts on probability, when I find them difficult to understand.
