We are weeks behind in Doom. Doom other than the virus, that is. Here’s a small attempt to catch up.
Taylor Marshall reports “Yes, so Bishops are officially ‘commissioning women ministers’ to minister at the altar after studying 2 years at seminary. This is not the Amazon. It’s not the future. It’s the present Novus Ordo reality. See photo. Reclaim the Roman Rite. Reject this:”
The “this” rejected is a picture from Archbishop Gregory Aymond featuring himself with a group of would-be priestesses, and the words
On Sunday, we commissioned 8 women to be LAY ECCLESIAL MINISTERS for our archdiocese. They have prepared for 2 years at Notre Dame Seminary. Our archdiocese is blessed by their faith and commitment to ministry. We are grateful to them and their loved ones who made this possible. The picture includes them and the staff of the institute.
It is impossible for a female person to be a priest, or even a priestess, in the Roman Catholic Church. It is also impossible for a man to be a nun or sister. Symmetric discrimination. Anyway, given the impossibility, you’d think the squishy men (unfortunately appointed as priests in great numbers) would give up trying. They will not.
They are in the grip of Equality. Equality is the mind killer. Equality is not surprisingly the first sin. They want to make it the last, too.
What’s that? It’s proof you want? Very well, proof.
On March 14, Shelley Rae Gilchrist joined a unique group of rule breakers when she was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest.
It’s a move that Pope Francis and the Catholic Church have declined to support, but Bridget Mary Meehan, the first bishop in the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests, says it’s a grassroots movement that isn’t going to disappear.
“Hello, 21st century, let’s embrace equality and justice in the Catholic Church,” Meehan, one of the first women ordained in the United States, said.
Last sentence is a whopper: three fallacies in one! The Current Year Fallacy, the Equality Fallacy, and the Priestess Fallacy, which is committed when a priestess is said to be the same as a priest.
Hat tip for today’s picture (not same as Marshall’s).
Speaking of priestesses and the growing matriarchy, this next Item.
An Argentine court has upheld the criminal conviction of a gynaecologist who refused to abort the child of a rape victim in 2017. Dr Leandro Rodriguez Lastra was sentenced to a 14-month suspended jail term, plus 28 months of disqualification from holding public office. Dr Rodriguez Lastro will appeal.
The victim was a 19-year-old in her fifth month of pregnancy, the result of sexual abuse by a relative. At first she used an abortion drug provided by an NGO. That failed and she was referred to the hospital where Rodriguez Lastra was head of gynecology.
The doctor said that abortion posed a risk to both the unborn child and the mother. However, the judges said that the only thing necessary for a legal termination of pregnancy was a formal request from the rape victim.
The child was later given up for adoption.
In a divided vote, judges Miguel Angel Cardella and María Rita Custet Llambí considered that in this case “the gender perspective should be applied,” and therefore held that the accused is guilty of the crime of “failure to comply with the duties of a public official”.
My favorite line in the story is “The child was later given up for adoption”, which is short for “The child was later given up for adoption and not killed by Dr Rodriguez Lastro on demand of the mother.”
Doctors used to swear an oath not to take a life by abortion. That was in the days of the dreaded patriarchy. They are now arrested and jailed for not killing children would-be mothers don’t want.
Any society in which it is legal, and even encouraged, for women to kill their children—especially without the agreement of the fathers—is a matriarchy.
Matriarchy is death and chaos. This is why it’s no surprise men, who long to dominate, want to get in on womenhood.
The U.S. Department of Justice is taking sides in a landmark federal lawsuit, and the man with his thumb on the scale in favor of the lawyers for a Christian rights organization is none other than Attorney General William Barr.
The DOJ filed a legal document Tuesday in Hartford, Conn., where the anti-LGBTQ Alliance Defending Freedom is representing three high school girls in their suit to stop transgender girls from competing in school sports. The Trump Administration has now joined the ADF in resorting to transphobic terms to misidentify trans girls in court documents such as “biological males” and “boys.”
The Dept. of Justice’s statement of interest argues the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference is violating Title IX, the federal law that provides equal educational opportunities for girls, including in athletics.
The female who wrote this story for Forbes uses (as regular readers will recognize) the Imposing Your Belief Fallacy. She accesses Barr of thumb-on-scale, which is a secular sin. Yet it’s obvious she has nothing against thumbs on scales: she just wants them to be her delicate digits, and not Barr’s
It must be particularly galling for this female that Title IX was turned around and used as a weapon against her.
Here’s a fairly good indication the entire world is losing its mind, elites included. Not just Microsoft but Christie’s. This is Marina “Spirit Cooking” Abramovic, art fraud and would-be cannibal. Supported by the “best” people in the world.
The ad caused quite a stir, and it was pulled after a day or two. Those who went long on Serbian Satanism took a loss.
Rumor says weapons will also be taken away from Canadian soldiers, to be replaced by GRR training. When an enemy attacks Canadian soldiers will go “Grrr!” in a fearsome manner at them.
